Fall Style- Week 2

Hey there! This is week two of my transitioning to fall series. This week, however, has felt more like winter here in Oklahoma! Burrr! My bones weren't ready for this transition to occur so quickly. Nevertheless, the season for pumpkin spice and coffee is upon us. Although, is there ever really a bad time for coffee? Not if you ask me!

So, this week, I have to admit I was a little unplanned and my outfits were thrown together rather quickly. But, I promised that I would bring you real life and THIS, people, is it. Take it or leave it. Here goes....

This is a good example of  how you don't have to spend much to look "put-together." I bought this teal sweater dress at, you guessed it...Ross. It was only $12.99!!! The black and white buffalo check sweater came from A Treasured Boutique last year. I wore basic black tights with it. My favorite place to find tights is at TJ Maxx. They always have them and they are about half of what you would pay for the same brand elsewhere. I bought a package of two for $6.99.
In this picture, I wore a leather vest that I got on sale some time ago at the Dillard's New Year's Day Sale paired with mustard jeggings. I wore a basic, black, velvet cold shoulder top underneath my vest with my leopard, fringe booties. All of these pieces can be paired in many different ways making them all perfect for fall.

The jeggings that I'm wearing are Hue brand. I've had them quite awhile and I purchased mine from Dillards. Here is a similar style.

These super cute fringe leopard booties are only $40! Check them out here. Hurry fast though! There is only a limited amount.

I love my Frye Melissa Button Boots. They are one of my go-tos favorites for fall and winter because they are so comfortable and versatile. They were a little pricey, but I have had them for several years and I have worn the tail off of themπŸ˜‰. In this picture, I wore these basic jeggings that I bought from Walmart of all places πŸ˜†. They are a heck of a buy and come in tons of color options for just $12.87. I just couldn't pass them up for that price and they are very comfortable. Great for transition weather as they aren't too thick for warmer days but still provide warmth for when it's cooler out. This sweater paired with a bright red fringe scarf were perfect on a chilly day. The red gives a basic, monotone look a pop of color.

So, there you have a couple of more fall transition pieces that you could copy rather easily if you wanted to. Layers and basics that can be used multiple ways are key for fall, in my opinion. What are your favorite fall transition pieces? I would love to hear about yours!

XOXO,
Danielle
